CRANFIELD SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT

Senior Visiting Lecturer

I have had a relationship with the Strategy and Marketing groups at Cranfield since 1990, when I was appointed as the Shell International Fellow to work with the global oil group and Cranfield to develop original learning material from Shell’s businesses. The relationship has been on-going for the last twenty years.

Currently, I teach on all Cranfield’s MBA programmes on the topic of Human Universals and what managers and organisations in general can learn from this with relevance to strategic change. This topic proposes that strategies can be implemented more effectively if they are managed with the grain of human nature, rather than against it.
